Reed Diffuser Instructions

Reed diffusers are an effective and elegant way to fill a space with fragrance. They use the natural capillary action of reeds to draw scented oil from the vessel and gradually release it into the air. This method of scent diffusion is not only aesthetically pleasing but also provides a continuous fragrance experience without the need for flames or electricity.

To ensure your KO`HANNA diffuser performs optimally and delights you for as long as possible, follow these guidelines:

1. Placement
Place the diffuser in an area with gentle, steady air movement — near a doorway, on an open shelf, or by a window.
Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources, as they can accelerate evaporation and distort the fragrance.
The ideal placement height is at chest level (approximately 150 cm).

2. Activation
Open the bottle and insert 2 KO`HANNA signature fibre reeds — they are specially crafted for even and stable fragrance diffusion.
Allow the reeds to absorb the oil for 30–60 minutes, then flip them to jumpstart the scent release.

3. The number of reeds matters:
• For smaller rooms, start with 2 reeds and gradually add more if desired.
• The larger the space, the more reeds you will need — up to 6–8 in open or spacious interiors.
• The number of reeds affects both the intensity of the scent and the rate of evaporation.

4. Maintenance
Flip the reeds once a week to refresh the diffusion.
When changing fragrances, always use new reeds — they retain the scent of the previous blend.

Additional Information

• All KO`HANNA diffusers are formulated with an alcohol-free, eco-friendly base — it preserves the purity of the fragrance, evaporates slowly, and doesn’t dry the air.
• A 200 ml diffuser provides approximately 4 months of scenting, depending on room temperature, humidity, and the number of reeds used.

KO`HANNA is more than fragrance.
It’s part of your rhythm — precise, expressive, and quietly present.
